Natural Antibiotic Remedy

Natural Antibiotic Remedy

Best homemade natural antibiotic remedy

I bring you my favorite DIY natural antibiotic. This remedy comes from an ancient recipe created by grandmother many years ago.

This DIY is armed with: cayenne pepperManuka Honey, organic garlicorganic ginger root, organic cinnamon and organic lemon juice.

Cayenne will warm your body, help you sweat and eliminate toxins. Manuka Honey and garlic are natural antibiotics. Cinnamon and ginger have strong antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Natural Antibiotic Remedy

  • 1 organic garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tbsps Manuka Honey
  • 2 tbsps grated organic ginger
  • 1/2 tsp organic cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup organic lemon juice

How to take it:

Take it 3 to 4 times daily to fight off flu and cold or when feeling under the weather. This recipe will only make 1/2 a cup, so double the amount or even triple to have enough for one day. Do not add water. Take until symptoms are gone.

NOTE: You can keep up to 2 days refrigerated (without the garlic). I suggest you add the fresh garlic as you go. Please use a BPA-free container.

  1. What can be used in place of honey? (I’m allergic). Thanks!

  2. Is this safe to give to 3,2 &1 yr olds if so what is the dosage

  3. I do not have access to manuka honey. Would any raw honey work? Also, 1/2 a tsp cayenne seems like a lot to put in one dose, considering I add just a few dashes to spice up an entire pot of chili. Could you just confirm that that is the right amount? If I can’t take that much cayenne, will it greatly reduce the effectiveness of the remedy to eliminate some?

  4. Hi Diane and Mary Anne,
    Sorry you got confused.
Take 1 serving 3 to 4 times a day. Please do not add any water.
To get 1 cup/2 servings you will need to double the amount mentioned. Thanks!

  5. Hi Sophie.
    This recipe sounds great. Thanks.
The only thing I need to ask is “How much of this do you use?”
You say 1 cup 3-4 times a day but you don’t say how much of the mixture to add to 1 cup of water?
    Thanks in anticipation

  6. I was looking at this recipe. It does not make sense to drink One Cup of the mixture 3-4 times daily. Did you mean to mix some with hot water and drink it 3-4 times daily. That would make more sense. If so, how much mix do you use each time?
