  • Beets:
  • Beets are absolutely packed with a uniquely wide range of antioxidants. These potent antioxidants such as betalains, vitamin C, and manganese fight the effects of oxidative stress. According to Dr. Andrew Weil, “oxidative stress is the total burden placed on organisms by the constant production of free radicals in the normal course of metabolism plus whatever other pressures the environment brings to bear (natural and artificial radiation, toxins in air, food and water; and miscellaneous sources of oxidizing activity, such as tobacco smoke).” Oxidative stress has been linked to many diseases, including heart disease and cancer. Beets help prevent chronic inflammation by inhibiting the molecules that send pro-inflammatory messages throughout the body. Inflammation is also linked to many diseases including atherosclerosis and heart disease. The betalains in beets are also very beneficial as a detox, getting rid of unwanted toxins in the body.
  • Apples:
  • The apple is always related to a popular belief that eating one a day can prevent visits to the physician, and for good reason. They are packed with flavonoid antioxidants, which may help prevent cancer. Apples are a great source of fiber, which is known to lower levels of LDL cholesterol. High cholesterol is one of the major risk factors for heart disease and stroke. The polyphenols in apples help slow down the digestion of carbs, and breaks them down into simple sugars, which puts less sugar load in the blood stream. This means that apples lower blood sugar levels.
  • Carrots:
  • Carrots are one of the highest sources of vitamin A, which may reduce death rate from measles, prevent certain types of cancers, and boost the immune system. They are a good source of vitamin C, which has been known for generations as a potent immune booster and antioxidant. Vitamin B6 is essential for the production of serotonin, which helps stabilize the mood and sleep patterns. Vitamin B6 also helps with metabolism and strengthens the immune system.
  • Lemon juice:
  • Lemon juice and lemon water are well known to help the body get rid of unwanted toxins. It also helps aid in digestion. According to the Mayo Clinic, Lemon juice is a great source of vitamin C, which is needed by the body to form collagen in bones, cartilage, muscle, and blood vessels

  1. Hello. ..I was diagnosed with enlarged liver but with no masses. I was given the medication and the doctor told me that all will be well and my liver will go back after taking the prescribed medication. I tested for liver function tests which came out normal and Hepatitis B which was negative. After treatment I started my healthy feeding journey after making research. ..I have been blending beet roots , apple, carrots, passion , and mix in a mango to make it tasty for the health of my liver. But I haven’t been taking it on an empty stomach. .Instead I have been taking it as normal juice throughout the day which am going to change. Am now feeding on vegetables like spinach, lettuce, broccoli and other green leaves vegs on a daily basis which I never used to do…I will go back after 5 months for the check up and find out how my liver will be doing….I have learnt some thing from this page and am happy.

  2. It was a complete miracle for my face – and I mean a miracle. I ended up with adult cystic acne and it completely healed it. I faithfully apply Vitamin E oil and my skin is incredible for being 50. I used to buy the Miracle Juice for $8.95 a quart but I went to Wal-Mart and for $49.99 I purchased my own machine and have been making my own for almost 2 years. I still drink a quart, if not more when I make it…and I make it QUITE often.   8. I am anxious to try it but I need to know if it can be stored?
    According to the recipe as I understand it, it is for one serving only, my question is, can we juice enough to serve
    for 2 or 3 days at a time by doubling or tripling this recipe and storing in a jar or plastic bottle in the fridge?

  9. I tried this for my little one who is going thru chemo. The recipe I had also called for 1″ of fresh ginger. I hated the taste but it reminded me slightly of my mom’s pickled beets that I LOVED as a kid. I decided to try to make it taste more like that and added about a tsp or so of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar, a few shakes of cinnamon, and allspice to get that mild clove flavor. I also added a couple pinches of evap cane juice to balance the vinegar. You could also use stevia if you don’t want the extra sugar. Anyway.. I love it. And more importantly so does my little cancer patient. 🙂

Please note: We are not fans of the evaporated cane juice as it may contain GMO. How about trying a little fresh squeeze of organic pineapple juice or organic coconut nectar as they also sweeten slightly? Please keep us posted on his recovery. We care.. <3

  10. I have beetroot/apple/carrot juice every morning religiously on empty stomach. It has improved my energy quite drastically. Don’t feel tired in the morning any longer. Gym in the morning and walks in the evening – still have lots of energy to spend the day at work and cooking for the family in the evenings. Sleep well.
    Don’t have much coffee or tea for the juice keeps me full. My health is important and feel the difference – although the taste is not the best but the results are amazing. Highly recommended.

    friend of mine told that taking beet juice in empty stomach would cause nausia and vomiting. Please clarify.
    Can I grate the beet, blend, boil, and take for improving anemic health? I am taking beet, carrot, tamoto juice which is boiled and warm/ is it ok for improving health?

    • Hi Raja,
      Each person will react differently. Try a small amount on an empty stomach and see how you feel. You need to juice the organic beet raw. This is a juice. If you are taking any medications or have a medical condition, please talk to your health practitioner to see if this is right for you.
