Every year we celebrate Earth Day, the anniversary of the birth of the environmental movement started by Senator Gaylord Nelson in the 1970s and the formation of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
We are thrilled to announce that Earth Day San Francisco 2016 (EDSF) will take place on Saturday April 23rd at 22nd street between Valencia and Mission from 10 am to 7 pm.
The festival is expected to draw thousands of people and promises to be one of the largest 45th Earth Day Celebration on the west coast.
The festival is designed to bring together leading members of the green/sustainability activist movement to co-create a vision of how to address environmental issues we face.
Many prominent speakers, nonprofit organizations, businesses, indigenous community leaders, civic agencies, musicians, and youth groups will be part of this event.
Activities range Hands on Green Do-It-Yourself projects, Eco Fashion Shows, Green building demos, Holistic Wellness Village, Amazing Eco Art Alley, Solar powered Beer and Wine Gardens, Our Sustainable Chef Showcase, over 80 earth friendly vendors, Eco Kid Zone with Tons of Activities. Our New Green Tech Pavilion and so much more.

EDSF is dedicated to providing the tools and inspiration to bring together our community.
The goal is to educate the public on Green and Earth-friendly solutions and to empower the sustainability movement to grow worldwide.
