MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum was launched in February of this year under lockdown! Yet against all odds this uniquely formulated serum became a favorite among beauty professionals and skincare experts and won the Pure Beauty Awards London 2020.
With all the attention the Maysama green rooibos pressed serum was getting we decided to give it a try.
The MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum is a potent antioxidant serum, formulated with Green Rooibos Extract. MAYSAMA’s green rooibos has a patented extraction process, which concentrates the aspalathin, the main flavanoid in rooibos responsible for its antioxidant activity, to produce a phytopharmaceutical ingredient with superior antioxidant capacity.
Rooibos is also rich in super powerful antioxidant enzyme Superoxide dismutase, Alpha Hydroxy acids and Zinc, known for their anti-aging properties, anti inflammatory properties.
MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum also contains 3% niacin amide also know as B3, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica, Sea Buckthorn and Liquorice.
The thin gel absorbs fast, is not sticky and has a gentle tea scent which smells of the earth.
After 10 days of using it our skin felt hydrated, plumped and very calm. We love the fact that it is fragrance free, essential oils free. It seems ideal for sensitive and mature skins.
The serum can be used prior to thicker serums and before your moisturizer. We also gave it a try with our Red light Mito panel and liked how it felt.
On another note, we were thrilled to know that MAYSAMA is also registered with The Vegan Society and approved as Cruelty Free under the Leaping Bunny programme.It has sustainably sourced ingredients and eco-friendly glass packaging.
