Almond butter:
Almond butter is packed with protein, like many nut butters. According to the USDA, 1 tbsp of almond butter contains 3.35g of protein. Many body builders and fitness models use nut butters as a source of protein and energy before workouts.

Bananas:
Bananas are a good source of protein, with 1.3g per fruit. Every little bit adds up. A bonus is that bananas are packed with potassium, which is essential to muscle function.

Chia seeds:
Native Americans tribes such as Aztecs and Mayans used the seeds when they needed to fight in battle or run fast. We believe it is because they are a great source of protein and natural energy.

Kale:
It is packed with vitamins and antioxidants for overall health. Also, 1 cup of kale contains 2g of protein, which is great for a leafy green.

Directions:

Process the following ingredients in a blender:

1 cup of almond milk (or filtered water)
1 cup of kale, chopped
1 scoop of organic protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tbsp of almond butter
1 banana
