Aladin’s organic lemon sorbet recipe

Aladin’s organic lemon sorbet recipe

Eating organic foods is key to optimal health.

Desserts that are made with natural organic foods like fruits are tasty and good for you too.

This is a family lemon sorbet recipe that stood the age of time.

It was created by our uncle Aladin who was a great chef.

Let’s take a look at the health benefits of these organic foods.

Coconut sugar:

It is rich in amino acids and has a low glycemic index, which means it doesn’t cause blood sugar spikes like artificial sweeteners and table sugar. Organic coconut sugar is a great alternative to table sugar and sucralose, which have been shown to contribute to diabetes and obesity.

Lemon juice:

It is high in vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system, and also flushes out toxins by acting as a diuretic. The acids in organic lemon juice help regulate the pH levels of the body. Lemons contain compounds called limonins, which have been shown to fight many types of cancers.

1 cup coconut sugar (you can use less and adjust to taste)

2 cups filtered water

1 tsp of lemon zest

1 cup lemon juice

Directions:

In a saucepan bring the water and coconut sugar to a boil until it thickens (about 3 to 4 minutes)

Let cool for 10 minutes

Add the lemon juice and lemon zest

Pour in a sorbet dish

Freeze overnight

Optional: You can whisk every 4 hours to give a more textured feel.

Serve in glass bowl and garnish with fresh mint and lemon zest

Make sure to use organic foods and filtered water in this recipe

Enjoy with your family!
