Healthy creamy cauliflower dip

Football season is here which means that dips are also in season. The problem is, many store-bought dips are filled with chemicals and preservatives. This healthy creamy cauliflower dip is only made with the best ingredients.

Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients in this healthy creamy cauliflower dip recipe.

Cauliflower:
It is packed with a compound called sulforaphane, which has been shown to kill cancer stem cells. It also has potent anti-inflammatory and heart health benefits.

Garlic:
It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is even known to reduce the inflammation caused by arthritis.

Lemon juice:
It is high in vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system, and also flushes out toxins by acting as a diuretic.

Olive oil:
It has a wide variety of polyphenols, which are substances found in olive oil (and many other foods) that help reverse pro-inflammatory enzymes and molecules in the body. Just 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil a day can help with inflammation.

Directions:

Process the following ingredients in a blender:

1 head of cauliflower
2 tbsp of tahini
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 clove of garlic
1 lemon, juiced
1 pinch of sea salt
1 pinch of black pepper
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1 pinch of cumin and smoked paprika

Blend until smooth and creamy
Serve with cut veggies like carrots and celery
