  • Cacao:
  • Extra Dark chocolate at least 70% organic cacao has been touted for its health benefits recently, and the great thing is that it is delicious too.
  • It is fast becoming a super-food.
  • Recent research shows that dark chocolate may help make you thinner and may reduce the risk of stroke as well.
  • Coconut:
  • The nectar made from coconuts is a great replacement for traditional sweeteners because they it is low in fructose and have a low glycemic index as well. This means,  it does not cause major spikes in blood sugar levels.
  • Hazelnuts:
  • They contain unsaturated fats, which have shown to reduce LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and protect from heart disease. They also contain vitamin E, which may help prevent cancer.
  • This recipe also contains ingredients like  Himalayan pink salt and almonds, which have many health benefits.
  • Raw and vegan homemade nutella recipe:
  • 1 cup of raw hazelnuts
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla powder
  • 1 tbsp of coconut nectar
  • 3 tbsp of raw cacao powder
  • 1/8 tsp of Himalayan salt
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/2 a cup of almond milk
  • 1 tsp of sweet almond oil
  • Process ingredients in a blender until creamy smooth.
  • Keep refrigerated.
  • Keeps up to 1 month.
