Avocado and apple psoriasis-fighting juice

This avocado and apple psoriasis-fighting juice is packed with ingredients that are packed with antioxidants and help reduce inflammation.

According to the National Psoriasis Foundation:

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that causes raised, red, scaly patches to appear on the skin. It typically affects the outside of the elbows, knees or scalp, though it can appear on any location. Some people report that psoriasis is itchy, burns and stings. Psoriasis is associated with other serious health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and depression.

Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients in this avocado and apple psoriasis-fighting juice.

They are packed with pectin fiber to help remove toxins from the body and clean the intestinal tract. Apples are often recommended for people with psoriasis.

They are high with monosaturated “healthy fat”  and packed with potassium, magnesium, fiber which reduce inflammation related to psoriasis symptoms.

Celery contains chemicals called psoralens, which are similar to a drug used in light therapy, which is a treatment for psoriasis. It may help with the condition.


They are a highly anti-inflammatory as they are alkalizing.  They are high in plant lignans, which help the bacteria in the digestive tract. They lessen inflammation, provide hydration, and help balance the pH of the body.


Process the following ingredients in a juicer:

1/2 cucumber
3 apples
1 stalk of celery

Process avocado separately in a blender and add to the juice.
