  • The event will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco from 5:00pm -10:00pm
  • It will benefit JDRF and type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
  • The beautiful fundraiser will be Hosted by: Sam Talbot – TV Personality and Celebrity Chef. He is at the forefront of the ‘Sustainable Living’ movement, which seeks to break down the walls between the way we eat and the way we live.
  • Last year the Hope Gala raised more than $1 million and has brought much awareness to the cause.
  • Now in its 16th year, the Hope Gala has become a top charity event in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Each year, an individual or organization are honored with the Living & Giving Award, presented at the Hope Gala.
  • The 2014 honoree, Gretchen de Baubigny, was selected for her exceptional commitment to the health, well-being and enrichment of the Bay Area community. Ms. de Baubigny’s six-year-old grandson Nicolas was recently diagnosed with T1D and she has turned her focus on JDRF to help find a cure.
