Glowing skin tropical smoothie

Glowing skin tropical smoothie

Smoothies combine deliciously healthy ingredients into a convenient and nutritious drink. This glowing skin tropical smoothie is packed with tropical fruits with natural anti-inflammatory properties and nutrients that will make your skin glow. Let’s take a look at the ingredients in this smoothie.

Avocados:
They are a certified super food, containing essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and amino acids. They are known to increase the absorption of important nutrients such as beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, and lutein. The D-manno-heptulose sugar found in avocados helps improve the production of collagen, which is crucial to keeping the skin healthy and young.

Coconut water:
Coconut water is packed with fluids and electrolytes that not only keep you hydrated, but your skin as well. Hydrated skin is healthy, glowing skin.

Kale:
One thing that makes kale so unique is it’s high levels of omega-3 fatty acids. It is well known that omega-3s have anti-inflammatory effects. According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, a leading physician and health expert, “Eating healthy fats such as animal-based omega-3 fats or the essential fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA) tends to reduce inflammation.” These anti-inflammatory effects help keep skin clear.

Pineapple:
Pineapple juice contains bromelain, a natural anti-inflammatory enzyme. The antioxidants in pineapple also help reduce signs of aging.

Process the following ingredients in a blender:

1 cup of kale
1/2 an avocado
1 cup of coconut water
1 cup of pineapple

Make sure ingredients are organic and wash all produce thoroughly
Enjoy this glowing skin tropical smoothie!
