  • Treat your family to healthy food this holiday season, they will thank you and you will celebrate for many many more years together. This almondnog is the best alternative to store bought ones that are full of sugar.
  • Pine nuts are packed with healthy proteins. They are also a great source of monounsaturated fat and can lower the bad Cholesterol (LDL).
  • Bananas are high in potassium (about 442 mg), potassium is necessary for good nerve and muscle function as well as for maintaining a healthy balance of fluids in the body.
  • Almonds are natural powerhouses and contain Phenylalanine. They can do wonders for mental and neurological health.
  • They also have Riboflavin which is known to boost memory.
  • Healthy almondnog:
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean or extract
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1tsp raw almond butter
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Directions:
  • Blend all the ingredients
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg on top
  • Add 2 cinnamon sticks and serve.
