Healing turmeric and kale smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get the nutrition you and your body needs to thrive into a delicious drink that you love. This healing turmeric and kale smoothie is packed with nutritious ingredients that promote optimal health. Let’s take a look at the ingredients in this smoothie.

Avocados:
They are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, and other healthy fats that are great for the heart. Avocados are also packed with antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory properties.

Chia seeds:

They are high in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which help reduce disease-causing inflammation. Chia seeds have also shown benefits in lowering cholesterol and boosting energy levels.

Kale:
It is an excellent source of two powerful antioxidants called carotenoids and flavonoids. These antioxidants protect our bodies from harmful oxidative stress.  They also contain important flavonoids like kaempferol and quercitin, which it thought to kill certain types of cancer cells.

Turmeric:
Turmeric is one of the most potent healing spices in the world. It contains an active ingredient called curcumin, which possesses powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is the subject of many medical studies.

Process the following ingredients in a blender:

3 cups of kale
1/2 an avocado
1 tsp of turmeric
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tbsp of raw honey (optional)
