  • Ingredients:
  • For the crust:
  • 3 cups of walnuts
  • 15 mejdool dates
  • 1 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp of Himalayan pink salt
  • 3 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of coconut nectar
  • For the sauce:
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup raw cashews
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp raw almond butter
  • 1/2 cup raw almond milk or coconut milk
  • Directions:
  • Crust:
  • Blend the nuts, cacao powder, dates, cinnamon, salt and coconut nectar until the dough is crumbly.
  • Press the dough firmly in a muffin pan and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Sauce:
  • Blend the ingredients and pulse until you have a creamy sauce
  • The sauce should look like a thick syrup
  • Serving:
  • Fill each cake with the sauce
  • Press and close the circles down firmly on the sides
  • Flip the cakes around
  • Sprinkle with coconut flakes (optional) or garnish with fresh mint
  • Serve the remaining chocolate sauce on the side (optional)
