  • Cacao:
  • Dark chocolate has been touted for its health benefits recently, and the great thing is that it is delicious too. It is fast becoming a super-food. Recent research shows that dark chocolate may help make you thinner and may even reduce the risk of stroke as well.
  • Coconuts:
  • The nectar made from coconuts is a great replacement for traditional sweeteners because they are low in fructose and have a low glycemic index. This means that they do not cause major spikes in blood sugar.
  • Ingredients:
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 4 Tbsp Cacao powder
  • 1 cup coconut nectar
  • 2 Tbsp coconut flakes
  • Instructions:
  • 1. Process all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy like ice cream. It may take a few minutes, repeat until it looks very creamy.
  • 2. Leave in the freezer overnight. (at least 8 hours)
