Glowing skin and skin cancer preventing smoothie

Beauty comes from within. This skin cancer preventing smoothie is healing and anti-aging. It is packed with nutrients that have anti-inflammatory, anti-aging properties and cancer preventing properties.

Apples:

They are always linked to a popular belief that “eating one a day can prevent visits to the physician”, and for good reason.

Apples are packed with flavonoid antioxidants, which have anti-inflammatory properties. Foods with anti-inflammatory properties stop inflammation on the skin and protect from skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and eczema.

Avocado:

They have a packed list of antoxidants including the flavonoids epicatechin and epigallocatechin 3-0-gallate, vitamins C and E, and the minerals manganese, selenium, and zinc.

These antioxidants have potent anti-aging properties.

Avocados are also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (approximately 160 milligrams per cup of sliced avocado).

Celery:

It is high in a bioflavonoid called luteolin, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a good source of apigenin, another bioflavonoid with anti-inflammatory properties.

Cucumbers: They contain a lot of water, which is very important for the skin. Water not only helps you stay hydrated, but keeps your skin hydrated and loking young as well. Keep in mind that a dry skin ages faster.

Parsley:

This herb is packed with anti-inflammatory agents such as luteolin and vitamin C.

Blend:

5 stalks of celery

1 cucumber

2 apples

1 avocado

1 handful of parsley

Make sure ingredients are organic

Drink once a day.

Enjoy!
