Cough buster thyme tea

This is by far one of my most potent tea recipe.

Thyme  is sold both fresh and dried. The fresh form is more flavourful, but also less convenient; storage life is rarely more than a week. While summer-seasonal, fresh greenhouse thyme is often available year round.

Thyme tea is a natural and potent expectorant

It relieves cough and loosens phlegm. Extracts from thyme have shown relaxant and broncho-dilatory effects.

The Manuka Honey which is know for its antiseptic and antiviral properties will make this tea more potent.

Cayenne pepper and Turmeric and ginger are powerful healers.

Cayenne will heat your body, making you sweat and will help you get rid of toxins.

  • Cough buster thyme tea recipe:
  • Steep 2 tbsps of fresh thyme (or 1 tsp of dries thyme) in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 minutes.
  • Add:
  • 1tbsp of Manuka Honey
  • 1 tsp of turmeric
  • 1 tps of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp of grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • Drink 3 to 4 times a day
  • Enjoy!
