- Apples are necessary for heart health. They have high content of soluble fiber (4 grams per medium apple) for a modest amount of calories (95).A medium apple counts as 1 cup of fruit.
- Cinnamon is a potent antiseptic, aids in digestion, stomach pain, has anti-clotting properties and so much more
- Ingredients:
- Organic apple juice (use more or less spice depending on quantity)
- 1 apple
- 10 whole cloves
- 6 green cardamom pods
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- 1 thin slice fresh ginger
- Directions:
- Stud the apple with the cloves.
- In a medium pot, combine the studded apple and remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make sure all ingredients are organic.
- Optional: Decorate glass or cup with 1/2 slice of pineapple and a few cloves.
