A deliciously healthy cardamom apple cider

    Cloves are packed with antioxidants and have cancer-preventing properties

  • Apples are necessary for heart health. They have high content of soluble fiber (4 grams per medium apple) for a modest amount of calories (95).A medium apple counts as 1 cup of fruit. 
  • Cinnamon is a potent antiseptic, aids in digestion, stomach pain, has anti-clotting properties and so much more
  • Ingredients:
  • Organic apple juice (use more or less spice depending on quantity)
  • 1 apple
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 6 green cardamom pods
  • 1 whole cinnamon stick
  • 1 thin slice fresh ginger
  • Directions:
  • Stud the apple with the cloves.
  • In a medium pot, combine the studded apple and remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes. 
  • Make sure all ingredients are organic.
  • Optional: Decorate glass or cup with 1/2 slice of pineapple and a few cloves.
  • Enjoy!
